Punishments rules
P1. Staff discretion and proportionality. Staff choose sanctions using evidence, severity, intent, harm, cooperation and relevant history. Options include a reminder, formal account warning, temporary or permanent mute, restricted access, temporary ban or permanent ban. Published mandatory repeat-offense rules still apply. Staff may act immediately to protect the community; a verbal warning is not guaranteed.
P2. Chat abuse and disruption. Verbal abuse, targeted insults, spam, excessive caps and repeated disruption can result in a mute. Staff may issue a formal warning and increase a mute for repeated or serious conduct, including a permanent mute when necessary. Friendly banter must be welcome to everyone involved and stop when asked; calling abuse a joke does not excuse it.
P3. Zero tolerance for hate speech. Racism, discriminatory slurs, hate speech and similar targeted abuse receive a formal network account warning. Depending on the language, context, severity and history, staff may also impose an immediate ban, permanent network ban or permanent mute. Staff do not need to give a verbal reminder first. The same prohibition applies in Drakora-related private messages.
P4. Threats and serious safety misconduct. Credible threats, doxxing, blackmail, sexual harassment, predatory conduct, phishing and malware can result in immediate restrictions or a permanent network ban. Staff may remove harmful content and restrict contact while investigating. Never retaliate against a person who reports a safety concern.
P5. M1 cheating and exploit penalties. Duping, X-ray, glitch abuse and other M1 violations have zero tolerance. Staff choose the first sanction based on the proven case, up to a permanent network ban, and may remove exploit gains or repair damage. After the first punishment is served, a confirmed repeat M1 offense means a permanent network account ban under M2. Changing account, server or exploit does not reset history.
P6. Ban evasion and shared addresses. Evading a punishment or helping someone evade it can bring further restrictions and bans. IP bans are reserved for confirmed attempts to evade a ban. A VPN, household connection or shared address alone is not proof of evasion; staff must consider the account evidence. Do not punish an unrelated player solely for sharing a connection.
P7. Griefing, theft and progression abuse. Griefing, stealing, claim bypassing and prohibited progression boosting can result in formal warnings or temporary bans, with permanent bans for severe or repeated misconduct. Staff may return property, remove improper gains or roll back damage when evidence and available recovery tools support it. Compensation is not guaranteed.
P8. Server and platform abuse. Deliberate lag, crashes, raids, bot spam, security attacks and access-control bypasses can result in immediate temporary or permanent bans. Staff may disable unsafe machines, builds, automation or accounts to protect services. Stop when instructed and report vulnerabilities privately rather than testing them on live services.
P9. Warnings, duration and history. A verbal reminder is different from a formal account warning. Formal warnings and punishments are recorded against the account and may inform later decisions. Serving or expiring a punishment does not erase its history. Read the recorded reason, duration and scope; keep your appeal code private and use official support if the details are unclear.
P10. Scope and paid benefits. A Minecraft network account ban applies across every Drakora Minecraft server and pack. Mutes and other restrictions follow the scope recorded in the case. Discord and website restrictions apply to their corresponding services. Staff and donators follow the same rules; ranks, Plus and purchases never buy immunity or cancel a punishment.
P11. Final staff directions and appeals. Staff have final say on immediate moderation and rule interpretation. Follow their directions, respect the decision and use the official appeal process instead of arguing publicly. Authorized appeal staff may uphold, increase, reduce or revoke a punishment after review. Respectful criticism and a good-faith appeal are not misconduct by themselves.
P12. Mixed-age community and boundaries. Keep public conversation welcoming and suitable for the community. Consensual, non-hateful banter that does not belong in public can stay in private conversations. Harassment, racism and hate speech remain prohibited. Respect personal boundaries, stop unwanted contact and never use fun, private messages or friendship as an excuse to target someone.
